KUCCPS urges Students to meet the deadline

The KUCCPS director for Placement and Career Development declared that over 100,000 qualified candidates have not applied. On the contrary, 246,000 students attained Grade C+ or above.

“We are nearly getting to half of the total number of students, so we are urging those who have not been able to do so to apply, and they should not wait for the last minute to struggle and access the portal,” Oluoch addressed the candidates.

Additionally, Oluoch dismissed the claims that the system downtime led to the low number of course applications. Furthermore, the placement service has taken an essential step to help those who find challenges in the application process. Officials have been dispatched across the country in this case.

“These officers are supporting students and parents to apply so they are not left out of the application,” Oluoch noted. Moreover, he reiterated that KUCCPS officials have traversed throughout the country. They have a responsibility to engage students and parents on the importance of registering within the given timelines.

Meanwhile, the latest flow events emerge a month after KUCCPS opened its portal for 2025 placement. KUCCPS had announced the commencement of course registration as of March 28, 2025. The application window shall end on April 30, 2025.
