Kenyans will not see any change in fuel prices this month.
In its latest review, the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) announced that petrol, diesel, and kerosene prices will remain the same across the country.
Motorists in Nairobi will continue paying Ksh 193.84 for a liter of petrol. Diesel will remain at Ksh 180.38, while kerosene will remain at Ksh 170.06.
EPRA reviews fuel prices every 14th of the month. These reviews affect global crude oil prices, exchange rates, and import costs.
According to the regulator, the government continues to apply the Petroleum Development Levy to stabilize prices and prevent sharp spikes.
Fuel costs are a significant concern for Kenyans, affecting transport, food prices, and daily expenses.
While prices have not increased this month, many citizens still feel the pressure of high living costs.
The unchanged rates offer brief relief, but the long-term impact of global fuel trends and the shilling’s performance remains a concern.
